To make paper, the raw material is first made into a pulp. A total of 2 liters of water is needed to produce 1 ton of grass pulp, while 6,000 liters of water are required for 1 ton of wood pulp!!!

We can see how much of a burden the production of traditional paper places on our environment. Let's see an example from every day life to understand the shocking difference in the amount of water needed for the manufacturing of paper.

If a family washes 3 times a week on average, it means 156 washing cycle a year. The water consumption of a modern washing machine is between 35-80 liter per wash. Let's take an average of 50 liter of water consumption for one cycle.

156 x 50 = 7,800 liter of water is used a year by a family in order to wear clean clothes for a year.

This amount of water is enough to produce 1 ton of grass pulp 3,900 times!!!! But for the traditional paper production this amount of water is enough to produce only 1,3 tons of wood...

There is no life without water, it's a prime necessity. Supporting grass based paper manufacturing saves more water, and leave a greener future for the future generations.
